We are looking to recruit a DIGITAL MARKETING APPRENTICE and you could be just the person we’re looking for.

Helpdesk Role

This is an apprenticeship opportunity, for people between the ages of 16-18, under the National Apprenticeship Scheme sponsored by Microsoft. It is approximately a 1-year programme with a combination of distance and on the job learning. In this role you will get paid while you learn!

The working part of the role will include:
• Content creation to be used across social media and the website. (including but not limited to; video, photography, artwork).
• Maintaining and updating the website on a regular basis.
• Attending regular events to capture photography and network with clients.
• Execute a pre-existing marketing plan and schedule.
• Copywriting to be used in marketing campaigns.

This means that as your knowledge and experience grow you will be expected to:
• Produce meaningful and consistent content that generates viable leads for the sales team to follow.
• Maintain a professional and up to date website appearance which is search engine optimised.
• Produce weekly blog posts that are relevant and in theme.
• Run Pay Per Click campaigns that generate further relevant traffic to the website.
• Liaise with third parties to extract the maximum value out of our marketing efforts.
• Produce regular weekly reports and a final marketing report that provides a marketing strategy for the following year.
You will be given full support in the role and a future development programme beyond the initial apprenticeship towards a Digital Marketing Executive role.

Other essential skills / experience include:

We are typically looking for applicants with qualifications to A level standard or equivalent. A full UK driving licence would be an advantage but not essential (we appreciate that you might not yet be old enough or had an opportunity to learn and pass a driving test yet).

The benefits

In addition to your training and qualifications, you will receive an apprenticeship salary of £600 per month. Successful completion of the apprenticeship and a high standard of performance during the programme will potentially lead to an offer of employment as a qualified Digital Marketing Executive within our sales department.

You will also receive 20 days paid holiday (rising to 23 days between 5 and 10 years’ service) in addition to public holidays.

Other requirements

Experience with Adobe suite products (Photoshop/Illustrator/PremierPro). Although it is not essential, previous experience with WordPress would be beneficial.

Commercial Account Manager

As part of the role you will be expected to:
• Manage existing key commercial accounts to ensure that clients are receiving the best possible service and are getting the very best from technology.
• Plan and implement client ‘technology roadmaps’ as the blueprint to their digital transformation.
• Support clients every step along their digital transformation.
• Report activity and progress on a regular basis.
• Work from the office, home or on the road as appropriate.
The role will suit someone with 2 years’ sales consulting experience in the SME market in a similar organisation and be able to demonstrate a successful track record accordingly.

Other essential skills / experience include:
• Knowledge of technology infrastructure including server-based environments, cloud and hybrid environments, Office 365 and MS Azure solutions, data cabling infrastructure, communications, connectivity and telecoms, backup and disaster recovery solutions and managed services packages.
• Full UK driving licence

The benefits

A basic salary package of circa £25K depending on experience plus a generous uncapped commission scheme.
20 days paid holiday (rising to 23 days) in addition to public holidays.
